For The Love Of Animals!

How many of us love animals? Well, I guess we all do! But we all have our favorite animal, be it domestic or wild. There's some animals that we would love to keep as pets also! But then our parents are like, "We already have an animal at home, we don't need another one!"

If you ask me, then my favorite pet animal will be, Cats! I like Cats because some of them are very cute and some look as if they own the world. But, even in Cats, my favorite Cat so far is the 'Grumpy Cat!'

Actually, I love the entire Cat species! Due to which, my favorite wild animal is Tiger!

But did you know that the cruel world out there tortures animals? Well, Yes they do. I don't know much about it but all I know is that they use horses as carriages in cities which is bad for the horses, Beating or Hitting stray animals which is very common, Animals are used in circuses which is very much horrible (I'll get back to circus again after sometime), Animals are used for lab testing and the list goes on...

Now, getting back to Circuses!

It's a MAD HOUSE! Let me tell you how animals are treated in Circuses,

In circuses, animals are trained to jump through Rings of Fire and all. What are the odds of them being alive after this madness? Animals are made to ride cycles! I mean, we have so much difficulty at first, what it would've been in their case? There's a lot of things these circus people do. You might get to know more about it on the internet.

What should we do now?

Oh, For the love of Animals! There's something we can do, there are many groups and other communities who help animals. One of them I know is called PAL(Pet Owners and Animal Lovers). They are one great active group! The people over there take care of stray and injured animals and look for people to adopt them. I repeat, ADOPT and not BUY! They've also done many rallys and all. So, if you would wanna check them out, then here's their Facebook Page:

I have this friend who goes by the name, Eden Dias. She is a very nice girl and one of the extreme activists I've known. She already has a dog and a cat at home (Yes, they live in harmony!) and she does a lot for animals such as, going down and feeding stray dogs, Taking care of them, Getting them vaccinated and what not! She has also worked as an intern in PAL. Also, she plans to be one of extreme activists we've ever had.

So, who is The Legend over here? It's this girl, Eden, who loves animals so much that she's gone vegetarian now! Also, all those people out there who are trying their best to help animals! And I salute them!

That's all for Today. See you next time.

Suicide, trying to become an option!

"Prosperous farmers mean more employment, more prosperity for the workers and the business men of every industrial area in the whole country."           - Franklin D. Roosevelt

Since I live in India, I'm going to blog about some of the problems happening in our country. I know that everywhere you go, people are gonna shout about the common problems like, 'Corruption', 'Poverty', 'Unemployment', 'Inflation' and what not. But today, I'm gonna blog about the farmers of our nation and the problems they go through.

Recently, India had suffered through the worst drought ever in the past 50 years. (That's what news says) And due to that, many farmers gave up their lives. Not only that but villagers are also dying due to thirst. Is this what we want? That the people of our nation die everyday. Is this what our future is? That the poor will become poorer and the rich will become richer? Well, I don't think so.

How did the people of our nation contribute?

Well, I have a really less knowledge about it. But, the schools in our nation asked the students to bring bottles of water so that it could be sent to help the small villages and farmers who suffered through the drought. Now, here is my question, Why didn't the government made it mandatory for all the schools to provide a certain amount of water? Didn't they get an idea like this? I know the government has a lot of other things to do, but it is a democratic nation! Democracy means people's rule! And the people choose their governments, so shouldn't the government first take care of the people who chose them?

I did a bit of researching and found out that there's a site where you can pay and donate some amount of water for the people. Now this is not just for the citizens of India but everywhere else in the world. And not gifts related to water but even electricity, food and much more!

Here's the link in case anybody wants to check it out:

Is drought the only reason why farmers are committing suicide?

NO! Not at all. There has been a lot of injustice done to farmers due to which they commit suicide. We all know that, farmers harvest crops and sell them to the government or to other people and keep some for themselves. But due at times, due to some problems, the farmers don't get the correct price for their crops i.e. they are under payed. Due to this, they have nothing to eat all year round and also no money for their families. Did you know, that at some places, these farmers are so poor and have nothing to eat that they have to eat 'RATS'? Well, disgusting, isn't it?

However, in this case, the government has tried their best to give the proper price of their grains to the farmers. Also, there have been many unknown people who donated tons of money for these people. Which is a good thing.

These people are the 'Legends' out there!

Don't you agree with me?

P.S. I know I'm not that frequent in blogging but I need a good topic to blog about, right? I just can't post anything!

Home is where the start is!

So, I've seen many of my friends write blogs, some write very good and some write very bad that you wont even think of reading them again. It all depends on how one sees someone blog as. I am not a critic. I am someone who likes to write a lot! It doesn't matter what I write, it just has to be sensible! Oh and the horrible grammar mistakes I have. I'm sure the Grammar Nazis are behind me.

So, why did I start a blog?

I decided to start blogging not because most of my friends blog and not even to get followers but to just keep my habit of writing. If you leave iron away for a very long time, it starts to rust and then its of no use. So, its the same logic! I'll blog just for fun and to improve my writing skills!

Who am I?

I am a 15 year old kid who likes to do lots of things. Some of them include Making people laugh, Play the guitar, Draw things, Play and watch Pokemon, Do random stuff, Eat different kinds of food and well the list goes on. I guess blogging is another addition to this list. However, Sometimes I don't continue doing the things I do. I hope this doesn't happen with this blog.

What will I blog about?

I will be blogging about things that happen in my life and how does it affect me and what do I learn from them. I will also be writing how I surpass different kinds of challenges everyday! Now that seems like an adventure! So, Get.. Set.. Go!

Why the title 'The Search For A Legend'?

Because we all have a legendary person inside of us. We just need to find it. :)

That's all for today,
Stay tuned.
